F2 Savannahs

The A, B, C, and SBT indicates the amount of out-crossing to other breeds.

A is the first level or starting point,
B is one generation closer to the goal,
C is only one generation away from the goal of:
SBT Savannah - the fully recognized breed of cat!

An A Savannah is the son or daughter of two different registered breeds. Because the Savannah goes back to the Serval as its cornerstone, the Serval may be included in this equation. One generation of Savannah breeding.

A “B” Savannah is the grandchild of two different registered breeds.
Two generations of Savannah to Savannah breeding.

A “C” Savannah is the great grand child of two different registered breeds.
Three generations of Savannah to Savannah breeding.

The “SBT” Savannah is four generations and beyond of Savannah to Savannah breeding! The SBT is the ultimate goal for this new breed -- as it is the fully registered breed of cat!

The F2 Foundation Savannah has a Serval as a grandparent.
